How to find rotor maintenance specs?

Hi there. I wanted to check my rotors to make sure they are in spec, and not overly worn down.

My mechanic said I need to replace them but they look fine... maybe its possible they are too thin.

Anyone know where I can look this up? Thanks

It is usually printed/stamped on the disc carrier , something like "min 4.5mm ".
