Fork bottom bolt

OK

I give in, how the hell are you supposed to get the bottom fork bolts out.

The forks are still assembled but all the Allen keys I have the shorter length is too short to reach down the hole and using the longer end can’t get any purchase on it and don’t want to spin it out and screw the head hole up.

I have been thinking of cutting an Allen up and fitting it somehow into an impact but surely, and I do apologise for call you Shirley, there must be some black art trick here.

Cheers

Ian

Thanks

Ha ha never thought of that, I made it much harder but did it

Chopped the bent bit of an Allen Key and stuck it into me small impact driver. It spun em both off rather nicely.

Always that fear that you round off the hole.

But this time success.
