The stable is complete
« on: September 19, 2023, 08:14:46 »
I have been looking around for a while now, for a low mileage DL1000 (non stupid beaked version, obviously).

This one came up, a 2008 GT with 19k  :lala:

It does have the very common reversed pannier fault though, I will trawl the forum for a fix for that.

Wait until the retainer chords break and then you can swap the lids between panniers to reverse the reflectors.

Great choice and the best colour.

If I'm not mistaken (and I probably am)  graingerblaze is selling some good cheap bits you might like.  :thumb:

* Martin scoffs at the evident lack of silver frame *.

Well done Andy, is it spider invested?

Asking for a friend.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

I deliberately sought out the more expensive black frame model.  Black frames matter!

No spiders have invested, I stumped up my own cash  :)

The stable is never complete.
There's a simple formula:

Optimum number of bikes = Number currently in (garage/stable/shed) +1

Congratulations on the latest addition. I'd say there's a space in your collection for a small, lightweight runabout (CRF300L? RE Scram?). Just a thought.
