DRL Indicators - wiring
«

After my recent off I have damaged the indicator. I have purchased new set with DRL option. If anyone is interested what is needed to make it work on vstrom, here is what you need:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402467158718
The board is switching off DRL when indicator is on for better visibility. Like in the more modern bikes

Possibly, with a 5 pin relay.... I'll have a think while someone who actually knows explains...thinking cap, pen & paper required.
Got a link to what you've bought?

+ board for front and back.

I know maybe a bit overkill but that board have few more functions than simple relay:
1) Auto turn on when the engine starts - no need to find an ignition live feed
2) Auto dimming of the DRL's when the lights are turned on
3) "follow me home" DRL's stay on after you stop the car to provide lighting for your walk to your front door
4) When you indicate the DRL on that side will go out so as not to obscure your indicator ( option feature if you connect your indicator feed to the controller ).

Ah, hadn't seen the board.
Have you edited the original post? My reply doesn't make sense now. Then again, that's normal for me.
