This doesn't last forever, so do it while you can.

I personally don't like these amateur youtube road testers I think bike companies use them because they always say good things about their products.

I'd prefer one decent review that tells the good points and bad points,
I don't know why you see these youtubers insist on reading through a list of specs before they ride the bike eg...  abs, single pot caliper on the rear, and brake disc sizes etc etc etc etc.
I like to see someone who is an actual owner of the bike reviewing it after a few months, showing how easy it is to service etc.

I thought I might like to watch that as we're thinking about getting one (just thinking) but could only manage 10 minutes.
I found it hard work.

If I am interested in a bike I take a road test on one only way to find out if you personally like it .

I've just listened to the posted review. I can't say it was of any help at all though I did have a half hour test ride on one a few months ago and loved the bike, the only thing wrong with it was the price though compared with it's competition it is probably quite good.

I bought a 2014 1000 with under 7000 miles on the clock and everything fitted including full luggage and a dealer service history for those few miles. The brake pads were worn but a complete new set were included as were inner bag for the luggage a tank bag and almost 500 quid's worth of Suzuki fog lights.

I was going to wait for an 800 used to come along with the same extras but I'm very happy with my purchase and I saved a load of money that will go towards petrol.

In my opinion the only review that is of any use is the one you do yourself. We are all different and one mans dream bike may be crap to the next man and lets face it, you are the one parting with your hard earned cash and know what you want for it.

Still, thanks to those chaps who read a review then buy without a test ride only to sell them on to people like me with almost no miles on the clock because the bike just wasn't what they wanted.  :auto-dirtbike: :thumb:
