Front Indicator Connector - undoing method.

Hi all.

I am in the process of replacing the left fairing panel (pheasant damage) which the front indicator is mounted onto.

As usual the Haynes manual simply says "disconnect the front turn signal wiring connector" which isn't much help when the connector is buried under bodywork and barely visible.

I need to know where to press/push/pull to get the "blinking" thing to undo!

Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure you need to lift the tab gently and pull the connector apart (you should be able to see where the two separate bits are, and how it locks in under the tab).

Make sure to push them back fully when reassembling... I test rode mine after fixing the throttle issue and found that when I got back, I'd lost both front indicators (and would explain the strange look I got on one of the roundabouts from a driver)... I had just not pushed them back fully as they've been fine since.

Thanks for that, I'll get a look at it in the morning, was a bit worried about pulling wires out of connectors.

Pull on the plastic bits, not the wires if you can help it!

Worked a treat, I had initially been trying to open it by squeezing down on the tab.
