2023 V Strom 1050 DE Price released
« on: November 05, 2022, 19:47:18 »
Finally they have released the price for the up and coming 1050 DE and it starts at £13699. However as of yet the accessories aren't yet priced (but looking at the previous V Strom we kind of already know)

I will be swapping my DL1000XT for one in the coming months

And 13k for the cast wheel model, the old vstrom's are getting expensive, to expensive.  I'll be keeping the one I have.

Good old inflation for us.....

I priced up a Africa Twin Adventure Sport came in at £17k

that was WITHOUT the luggage that they wanted a further £3k for

I have a feeling this will be my like bike with these prices (I still remember buying my brand new GSX 1400FE for £6800)

Trouble is that puts the vstrom at a similar price level to a Versys 1000 or a Tracer 9gt. I would prefer either of those two till the vstrom but that's maybe because I've been on my strom from 2015.
In 2014 the rrp of my bike was 10k so that's a 3k rise in 9 years, not too bad I guess really with how things are. I would wait a year and no doubt where will be discounts, on the cast wheel model anyway.
