FALKLANDS 40
« on: June 15, 2022, 09:27:57 »
Hi

Yesterday I and hundreds of Falklands veterans gathered at the NMA in Staffordshire to pay our respects to our fallen comrades and mark victory day .

We gathered at the memorial where we touched the names of our fallen bowed our heads and remembered them as they were young men full of life and as the great words say for our tomorow they gave their today.

We met up with friends some of which we had not seen for 40 years but that did not matter we hugged and tears where shed but we were all reunited and united in the fact that we had done the impossible 40 years ago .

I went down on my bike and wore my colours with pride as I was only 1 of a small handfull of RAF personel to see actual combat in 1982 there were not that many of us there yesterday below are just a few photos I took .
