Over heating problem
« on: June 23, 2022, 13:22:45 »
Has anyone else had a overheating issue? I went out about 5 days ago and as normal my bike run as normal, (no problems) I then decided to go out for a ride the next day, how ever after about 5 mile the temp light came on, and the temp was showing all 5 bars, she didn't spit any coolant out but the pipes were very hard due to the over heating, at this point I noticed the fan wasn't kicking in, can anyone help me on this problem, all this nice weather and I've no bike 😩😩

I had the fan not coming on earlier this year. Unplug the radiator thermostat connector and bridge the contacts to see if the fan comes on, if it does it's likely a bad thermostat. If the fan doesn't come on check the plug to the fan, this ended up being my problem as the contacts were heavily corroded.
