Nice footage... :thumb:

We were up there early August but had to take the car as the forecast was rain everyday and boy,  did it rain ...!!

We still ventured out and In some areas we were lucky to be in a 4x4 as our GPS took us down some real dodgy single track roads that would have been brilliant on my BMW ...  :angry-banghead:

Hardknott pass was frustratingly closed as well, not sure why ..

Just means we'll have to go back and live in hope for better weather ... 🤞

I've got no rain since I arrived. I arrived on Saturday, they predict rain on my departing day on Sunday :D

Did Harknott, Wrynoss, Kirkstone few times, Honister, Whinlatter. Tomorrow I booked a self drive boat, so Windermere lake is mine :P Thursday Wales, Friday Scotland, lovely holiday.

We would have fared better in a boat to be honest but I wasn't hiring one at their hourly rate ..

Yeah £38 + £30 deposit is not cheap, but I have to do it at least once. :)
