Torque on brake pipe flare nut
« on: July 20, 2021, 18:36:50 »
I am torqueing my 1050 for the first time. a few bolts were a little loose compared to the specs in the service manual... But the brake pipe flare nut is easy off. very loose... like it is just turning and turning. I can't see that there should be and lock nut in the back that is spinning with it. Is the 15 nm specified in the service manual correct (like on the picture 2b)

It doesn't seem so - pressure is stable on the pedal

Then it's fine ...

A nut and bolt check should have been done on its first service .

There is no reason for a brake line to come loose unless it's tampered with.
