I have the 2005 650, and I have noticed that day to day when I commute (5km) the bike sounds like it has a deep thud however when I take the bike for a real ride out for an hour threw the country lanes it the thudding noise is no longer there and a more smoother sound , more of an electrical sound , does that make sense? Would it be because it’s warmed up and I’m driving it a lot harder ?
