I bought SWTech risers for my 1000, they don't fit either  They only thing I learned was I could raise the bar 25mm (just), but no way is there enough electrical cable slack to shift the bars towards me.
In my defence, she did leave me unsupervised.

Could you reroute the cables to bring them back (when you get some that fit)

I did look into that, there is a major cable that goes under the tank, so you'd have take the tank off, cut the ties and try and pull it forward some more- there isn't any slack at handlebars :-(

They will fit all VStroms apart from the DL1000 ALX8 as the taper bars are a different diameter.

In work we fitted 30mm straight raisers to every model DL650 and 1000 up to the 18 model XT.

You posted this a while ago I know
I am thinking of getting 30mm risers for my 650XT 2020
Can you remember whether the cables needed much routing?
I did have 25mm risers on my 650 2013 and they only needed a little adjustment
Thanks
