Morning
I have been giving my Vstrom 650 (2005) a service during lockdown.
Have replaced brake fluid like I would on any of my previous bikes using tube, jam jar and spanner, all gone well, only fluid coming out of the caliper, no air bubbles, on all 3 calipers. However, few hours later I noticed 2 of the 3 calipers had a slight weep round the bleed nipple where it comes out of the caliper. Gave them a wipe and a slight tweak. That seemed to solve the problem on one caliper but the other continues to leak.
I have consulted the trusty haynes and checked the torque to the specifed value, all OK.
Any thoughts?
Have read a bit about teflon tape? Is this advisable?
Have read about speed bleeders too with the sealent on the threads......any thoughts?
Any opinions welcome.
