Fuse issue
« on: April 09, 2020, 17:03:18 »
Hi all, need some help please,
Changed 3A fuse aux power socket wasn't working, now working...but
Dash ,indicators , spots have all gone off. I thought I heard something pop,
Checked main that's OK, I don't actually have any skills in this dept but 15A third down after headlight low/ high I think is the culprit it's a loose fit not like the others and has blown the spare , I've checked it in the headlight slot not working...Any thoughts would be appreciated.

All sorted... 15a signal fuse covers dash, taillight, indicators ,spots so replaced and all working.
Don't understand why it blew a couple of times.

Hate to be a pessimist, but... "all sorted"? Something must have made the fuse blow. If you haven't found and fixed the fault, a new fuse isn't exactly "sorting" it. It will, in all probability, blow again.

I second Rusty's comments.

Are the spots aftermarket ?

No the spots are factory on a 2015 sport model.
The 3A was dead I think I may of overloaded aux power socket at some point.
There is an empty slot in box , no label on it ???

I understand what you all mean and will have to keep an eye on it, until I can get it checked out.
