I have had 2. First one, I took to Timbuktu and back, 13,784 miles in 20 days, rode faultlessly. Prep’d the bike properly, rode sensibly-especially in the sand. Returned 274 miles to the tank, and, out of the 9 bikes that set off for Timbuktu, including Beemers, ktms, varaderos, only 3 bikes completed the entire trip... 2 dl650s, and a DL1000. Speaks volumes.
