I usually get 2-3 kpl fewer than Rob because I use more out of the corners (I like corners more than he does) but yes, you and I have both achieved 27-28kpl for 80kms or so out of our 1000s. That's sometimes handy to know if the service station is a bit further away than we'd hoped.
All Vstroms can be very economical if you need or want them to be.
