2014 DL1000 throttle body actuator repair
« on: February 25, 2019, 08:32:06 »
hello all.a little more on the ongoing saga of the stva problem I had.  after much research and scouring the tinterweb ,I found a few posts and videos that have enabled me to take the actuator apart and resolder the dry joints inside.what a result!! saved myself £700 quids and bike is running like a sewing machine.I am one very happy little fella!   I also found on the e-bay,a bloke selling a digital service manual .absolute bargain.if anyone is interested, the item number is 253922388766.

Brilliant result lozzo! Anything you can add to it, to help anyone else with this problem in the future (links etc, or a quick write-up) would be great :thumb:  In the meantime, pay yourself £700 and enjoy your bike  :lala:

will be more than happy to do a write up but have no clue how to set up links to relevant sites(far more comfortable with petrol than pixels)  will try to put something together in the next few days.
