I have the Ravetech mount on my 2017 bike, and tend to agree that, sadly, more vibes are evident than my old wee's mount (homemade, not ravetech). I think it's because the gap between the mounting points is much greater, and this hasn't been accounted for in the mounts design. It needs beefing up a lot, because once the weight of a satnav is on, it twists when going over the bumps, or even just riding along, making the satnav bounce.
Having said that, I have read reports of other available mounts having the same problems.
I'm going to try adapting mine, and failing that make my own again from 4 or 5mm sheet alu
If you look at the pic posted above, by user650, he has 2 ramballs mounted in pre-drilled holes on the top 'ledge' of the mount. I am placing 2 bolts in those holes, extending downwards with a rubber stop against the top of the instrument binnacle. I'll post the results on here
