Yoshimura can.
« on: September 03, 2018, 13:36:02 »
I have a yoshimura end can for sale. Removed from a 2016 Veek 1000 with 12,000 miles. I do have the link pipe and springs to go with it. Had some marks and scrapes as shown in photos. £60 collection Folkestone Kent. Any questions please feel free to ask.

I am considering buying an end can for my DL1000, did your can improve the acceleration and did you get your bike tested after fitting the can to check the fuelling?

My end can was already in the bike when I got it, so have no idea if it made any improvement. Sorry bud.

I think the consensus is an aftermarket tail pipe may look better, almost certainly weigh less and plays a better sound track.
Swapped in isolation it will have a  negligible effect on engine output or characteristics,  people will state (myself included !) it feels free revving , uncorked,  breathes better etc etc.
I can’t recall a dyno chart that backs this up though.

I've had two end cans, remus and a fuel.  The bike runs fine on the remus,  does seem to rev a bit faster but might just the noise.
With the fuel can the bike stalled a lot so I sold it on, I did nothing other than fit the remus and it never stalls now, might be just my bike as it was one of the difficult running one's.

I'd recommend a Delkevic end can. No noticeable difference in performance either way but looks much better than the standard offering. Not much louder but a nicer note than stock. Plus, they're not expensive and bolt straight on with no re-maps etc..
