Covered around 260miles so far and I'm quietly impressed. It's very easy to ride with a great engine and gearbox , nice power delivery (more than I thought), excellent brakes and superb suspension, infact I'm well impressed with the handling In particular considering the style of the bike.
Build quality seems good apart from the left switch gear its touch sensitive which is annoying but I guess I will get used to it.
The other disappointment is the petrol tank , although it's big (6 gallons ISH) but such an odd shape that gauge only gives accuracy under half full so you don't get tank range , just a trip meter so I will have to go old school and reset the trip every time I fill up.
With spirited riding I've averaged 62mpg and the tank is still just under half full with 260miles on the trip
The motor is sweet and gives very usable power, I've seen high mileage F800s that are still going and it's this and the tank range that I bought into so considering I took a punt and didn't even test ride it I guess it's so far so good but time will tell all ..
