Rear shock rebuilds?
« on: March 31, 2020, 20:13:57 »
Anyone know where to get rear shock rebuild?

Bikes on 80k plus miles I think there's some seepage from seals on mine.

Not looking to spend stupid money on upgrades but open to options on rebuild or new.

Daveged, is that a rebuild of the OE shock?
In my defence, she did leave me unsupervised.

Yes -rebuild of the old shocker -chrome was OK on the rod bit-good clean -paint the spring -new seal & o ring seal -fresh oil-new gas valve -whatever that is -on test for a day to make sure gas valve does not leak . He said most of the oil had leaked out over time -is an 07 plate -the seals do not last for ever !
