One place could be 'Robinson's Foundry'. I think there's a forum discount, too,
HERE
if it's still operating.
The fork seals should be the same for your model as the 'vintage' ones they offer!

Have you tried running a thin piece of plastic around them to see if a piece of grit is causing the problem?

Thanks lads, I've tried Robinson's but they don't list the L2 but I could cross reference the part numbers ????
Never even seen a seal mate but certainly worth trying, however I know the strom was on the side stand for a while and it just so happens to be the left leg. Thanks lads

The reviews on the seal mate are good so I've just ordered one off eBay £6.49 so its definitely worth a try at that money, watch this space Stromers for the result.

I shall just want a reasonable fifty percent of the savings for new seals if it works

A chunk of 35mm film used to work well, but harder to find these days & an SD card just isn't as good...

Mine left one started leaking and only done 7000 so I replaced both sides. I've seen a few posts saying that the left side is leaking. I got a set off eBay not genuine ones.

It looks like I will have to replace mine as the seal mate didn't do the trick, when it comes to fork seals I only use genuine as I've found non oe seals have failed me in the past in such a short time.

I've changed mine twice now - first time last summer c.32,000 miles- homemade sealmate worked to pass the MOT but it started leaking not long after. I used non-OEM first time and had to replace them this summer as one started leaking again
. Have gone OEM this time as although they cost more, stripping the front end to change fork seals is a PITA.

All you Stromers that have changed your fork seals is it advisable to buy the kit or am I just OK to just change the seals, bikes only done 6k on a 12 plate.
