Parcel to Go
« on: June 09, 2019, 15:07:48 »
After 10 days waiting finally got pics of my bike in a crate ready to fly from Delhi to Almaty in Kazakhstan (via Dubai). Hoping it flies on Tuesday as we only have a 30 day visa and the ferry to Baku is not on a guaranteed timetable. That is a freight ship that takes cargo when it has enough to make it worthwhile.

I've seen that ferry on TV... .
You are correct it only crosses when full or worthwhile and in bad weather it drops anchor and waits it out , sometimes days at a time.

Hope you get across quickly and safe journey.  :thumb:

I think that is a rather odd way of tying it down
