Bar end advice please

Morning advice needed for bar end, ever since I fitted heated grips a couple of years OK,I have had trouble with the clutch side bar end coming loose iam forever tightening it up even while riding along, while riding last night it came off luckily enough I managed to get hold of it and saved some of it please see picture, I have Suzuki hand guards fitted so managed to save the little adapt or, any advice on fixing this would be gratefully appreciated  :thumb:

I put a couple of washers in to move the bit that grips the inside of the bar farther in. seems to be working so far.

I will have a look what I have in the garage to fix it if you look at the picture all I have left is the bar end the bolt and the stepped adaptor the holds the hand guard on, I have washers and nuts so if I can find some rubber that will do the job.
