query about selling add on custom bits
« on: May 06, 2018, 18:45:29 »
Hello all, I've been a member for a year found it extremely useful and I have read lots and lots of threads and used a lot ideas that I came across although I have never actually posted, Sadly I am moving to the dark side and buying a GSA. I will be removing some of the stuff from my 2012 DL650AL2 I.e MRA screen, twin headlight relay and auxiliary connector the one hidden under fairing on RHS (from eastern beaver) and a scottoiler with twin and single oil feed. Would it be worth me putting these on here on relevant section to sell them or would nobody be interested as I've not put any posts on here, I live near Hayfield in Derbyshire so viewing can arranged. I can easily sell them on eBay or facebook but I would rather someone on here have them. just asking ????

hiya, cheers Paul_, I realise people are always after stuff, especially as I'll be selling them cheap, I was only wondering after reading certain threads, it would seem some people take umbrage to people selling things when they have not been actively involved with the forum,

Don't worry about umbridge, no one will give a fig if the price is right.

It's usually a case of when somebody registers then IMMEDIATELY puts their first post on, hawking stuff. No intro, no waiting, just registering with a view to unloading gear . That's what irks most people, I'd say.

Aye - what they said. Especially with a decent explanation, like the one you gave above :thumb: :)

fatfeet - can you post your goodies for sale in the 'For Sale' section, mate asap? This thread is already getting you PM'ed with offers!

Hello Gassoon, I didn't want this to end up as an auction thread, I will indeed put the stuff on the "for sale" section as soon as it's off my bike, cheers ????
