Have I got a light out? Can't actually remember what it was like before! I'm assuming it's a right PITA to get in there to change it if one has blown?

Can't remember either, and can't get to the bike at the moment to check. But as I understand it, all the "dashboard" lighting, backlights and warning lights, is LEDs and not individually replaceable.   :icon_no:

Why do you think a light is out? You can see everything can't you? Or am I missing something...

I've never noticed the unlit area around the LCD panel before. Only had the bike 3 years!

Have you turned the brightness down/can you turn it up?

(I tried posting a pic of mine but the site won't have it - I'll try again when I'm not on a bus)

I don't ride often in the dark, but that's how I remember mine...

From memory, I think the light missing in Brucey's pic is the "Ice warning", which only appears at below about 4C. (Came as a bit of a shock to me t'other day!)

The orange light in the middle = ice warning and flashes at 3°C & below before going a solid light (mine was flashing when I took the picture). The clock also switches to temperature when the light flashes.

I think Brucey said in his second response above he thought the rev counter should be illuminated more - I think his is right, mine just has the brightness turned up from the stock setting.

Yeah the ice warning light scared the crap out of me the other weekend until I realised what it was.

Cheers all - I've often seen the ice warning light...

Glad it's just me going mad and noticing the dark bit around the LCD bit for the first time.

Now all I need is a bit of sunshine to melt the impending snow - meant to be riding up to Mablethorpe for the beach racing on Sunday with some mates. One of them is hiring a 950 Multistrada for the weekend  lol lol lol
