Just done what I should have done first and tracked it down through the 'For sale' Board! Have sent the previous owner a PM.
I'll soon get the hang of the Forum thing again!!

In which case then a very recent chain and sprockets and a guarantee that it's never been above 70. A very tidy 'bike with impeccable provenience. :thumb:
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

That's good to know - thanks. The only outstanding query now (which the dealer hasn't answered in 2 days!) is whether the Shims were checked or does it need that now as it's done 16,000 miles. It will obviously make a difference to what I'll pay!
The fact that they have't replied means we know the answer I suspect or perhaps they are selling that many Bikes at this time of year they are too busy! :smirk:

Explains why the reg looked familiar.

Full response provided in PM.

The bike saw 119mph and my bottle went. I was trying to catch the nail at the time!

You can't catch the Nail.  Not all of it. Just bits of it, every so often. Then you can catch up with it in a layby while the bits go back on.
