Gearing on a 650A L2
« on: October 08, 2017, 15:00:33 »
Hello

I have been using a 46 tooth rear sprocket on my 650A L2 for a few years (I did not like a 16 tooth front sprocket as I felt the bike a little sluggish, with the higher gearing), but the smaller rear is just the ticket for me.

As an added bonus the milometer reads only 1% out (reads 101 miles for every 100 shown on my Garmin), and when the speedo reads 70mph the Garmin shows 66 or 67mph, which is pretty close as well.

Over those years I have not noticed any difference in fuel consumption.

Just a heads up, and I am sure someone else has already mentioned this.
