Indicator help please
« on: August 20, 2017, 13:13:19 »
My OH came home from work last night and said her left side indicators are not working on her DL650 L0.

Right Ones work but only if you put them on before the left.
I've checked all connections even the one behind the radiator.
Hazard don't work either.
The only thing I can think of now is the relay.
Before I order a new one is there a way to test it?

Edit. The rear stop and tail lights are all working.

It also does not make a clicking sound when the right side indicators are on. Should it?

The relay will click audibly when the indicators are blinking. The Veek relay is a simple two connection unit, unlike the other models that include the side stand safety wiring. If your right side signals work, the problem is not the relay. It's most likely the switch or the wiring to the switch.
Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A outlasted me.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 (K2-L2) DL1000s. Veek=2014+ (L4+) DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 (K4-L1) DL650s. Glee = 2012+ (L2+) DL650s
