V Strom 1000 End Can
« on: April 19, 2017, 21:02:03 »
What's the best end can for my 2016 V Strom 1000? Has anyone fitted a Scorpion Serket end can and is it easy to fit? I don't know anything about the exhaust valve either.

Maybe this helps, even though the real sound of an exhaust can never be recorded:

There all easy to fit, just two bolts to undo to remove the oe can. With just an end can replacement you don't have to touch the exhaust valve.
I've a remus on mine, I like the fact that it has no silencer strap to hold it on, it has s proper bracket as they have broke with me in the past.  I've had a fuel exhaust to but found it loud, not greatly finished and made the bike spit back and stall more but that was pre new ecu. The scorpion is a nice can, just check the pannier clearance if you have them as rhe end of the scorpoin sits a little higher than most.

Fuel on mine. Easy to fit and doesn't foul the panniers.

I've got the scorpion serket carbon on my 2016 Veek. Really easy to fit. Superb quality and not too loud even when you remove the baffle.

Has anyone tried a Mivv end can, they seem quite cheap to buy?

I had a MIVV on a Guzzi Stelvio. Nice sound but not as well made as a Scorpion

Just a reminder that we/you can get a club discount if you order from Scorpion by quoting you are a V Strom club member.
