Hi everyone!
« on: May 01, 2017, 14:30:44 »
Bought my DL650 last month. It's a 2016 XT that was pre-registered by the dealer, and used only for a single test ride, so I think I got a bargain  It's now being used for my daily commute, which is a 45-mile round trip, and replaces a G650GS that served me well and was great fun, but was starting to look a little tired after six winters.

The DL650 came with engine bars, sump guard and hand protectors. I've had Oxford hot grips fitted, and the bike has been lowered by 40mm with Lust links, as otherwise my short legs wouldn't reach the ground. I had the engine bars and sump guard taken off at the first service, having decided they weren't for me, so I hope to be selling those shortly.

All is well so far. I had an SV650 some years back, and liked the engine a lot, so it's good to be riding a v-twin again!
