Decided on a whim today to remove/clean/re-fit my Glee brake pads.
It wasn't long before I changed my mind, I'm now putting it off until I buy some replacement pins.
My bike has done a little over 7000 miles, but that's been enough for the pins to corrode and resist my initial 'sympathetic' efforts to remove them. I recall my old SV650 suffered the same issue and was oos while I ordered replacement pins, having had to use butchery to remove the rusted originals.
Anyhow, I've applied some Penol anti-seize lube, and will try again when I've got 'spares'.. just in case.
Anyone have any top-tips to ease removal? On my SV I eventually had to hack saw one in half, then use 'gentle persuasion' to get it out.
