Hi I'm a new owner of a 1000 sport just wondering if anyone commutes on their bike daily? I'll be doing 80 miles a day on some bendy and a roads. Any recommendations for mods to make life easier? How many miles are you getting out of a tank? And silly question do you have to wait for the engine to warm up after starting or just jump on and go?
Thanks

Don't idle the engine to warm it up. You should ride it, keeping revs down until it warms up. Doing this will warm the engine quicker and reduce engine wear.

See how you get on with stock screen.  Some say OK.

Those of us who have fitted Givi Air Flow one really rate them.  Massive improvement. Put it in search field and you will see responses.  I was going to go with the MRA until I did that and got the Givi. So pleased I did.  Two tours and now a 'beleiver'  :)

Hi
Good choice of bike , I really love mine, I ride for pleasure but ride at least 3 times a week the one thing I was glad to add to mine was mirror extension proper Suzuki ones ( very helpful) , plus a good size top box (47ltr). Also in my picture you will see I changed my exhaust, from that bloody awful bread box to a Fuel ( sounds great like a proper vtwin) .
Cheers from Suffolk
