only benefit is you can clean them , but in my opinion stock is relatively cheap and it works fine

Hold one of their air filters up to the light and you can see straight through the large holes in them.
No wonder they let 18 times more dirt through!

They also say the manufacturer's guarantee will still be valid - but is that the manufacturer of the bike?
