Can anyone shed some light on the order I need to fit the front end up on my k2 vee??? Crash bars seem to get in the way of the silly black vent things....... never had the issue on the 650......no decorative vents...... any help greatly appreciated as I'm ready to give up on the b**ody thing
Do blue ones go faster..... only one way to find out.... now how does it go back together

Sometimes it helps to at least loosen the crash bars. Most can be maneuvered well enough though.
Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. 2012 DL650A outlasted me.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 (K2-L2) DL1000s. Veek=2014+ (L4+) DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 (K4-L1) DL650s. Glee = 2012+ (L2+) DL650s

I have genuine Suzuki crash bars on my Vee and I can squeeze the side panels on/off without loosing the crash bars.
If you have other crash bars then may loosening is the answer .

For your info the side vents have to be fitted to the side panel before fitting .

Thanks for the advice, anything is better than nothing Haynes Manual is pretty wank when it comes to bodywork I need puppets talking me through it at the min........ bike/baby/work deadlines making my head spin lol
