DL1000 K8 Brake Upgrade
« on: December 29, 2016, 10:18:13 »
I Have just fitted  a pair of TOKICO 4 pot calipers from a GSX600, and added HEL braided hose's, and Scandinavian Brake pads, should I go the "Whole Hog" and replace the master cylinder, or will the standard master cylinder do? :ty:

I have fitted the same 4 pots along with an 1 5/8" master cyl (14mm is standard) off an sv1000. these along with brembo red pads will transform your braking.

I fitted 4 pots off a Honda Hornet & HEL lines. So far I have kept the standard master cylinder and I'm OK with it, I did wonder whether a different m/c would make a big enough difference to bother.
