Having broken the flimsy left hand knuckle guard for the 2nd time and spent another £54 to replaced it, just fitted a set of Hepco and Becker steel crash guards fresh in from Deutschland ........

I was dreading that question being raised. 1st time dropped it at a junction 2nd time whilst pushing it into a mates back garden through a narrow gate caught it and.............. . On both occasions the bottom bracket mount went with almost no pressure

not alone mate. I dropped mine in a car park and broke the righthand guard. I just took them off altogether.
