R&G rear crash bobbins.
« on: January 04, 2017, 19:53:33 »
Has anyone had any experience with these rear crash bobbins. I'm having a right game trying to get them to fit. I've spoken to R&G about them and all I'm getting off them is they are investigating the issue, they may need to get a bike in to try and fit them. I said surely you've fitted them before if you designed them to fit this bike and they couldn't give me an answer.

Do you mean rear spindle bobbins or rear swing arm bobbins? And what model of Strom?

I suspect that some of their products are sold on a 'it should fit basis, rather than having been tried first: the paddock stand bobbins I got for Katie didn't fit without filing a chunk off first. Maybe the initials are for Roughly & Guesswork???

Rear spindle crash bobbins not the stand bobbins. They told me today what I was doing fitting wise was correct but take it to a garage and if they can't get them to fit they will change them.
