So for the second time already in my short ownership of the strom it's keeled over haha!
First time, moving past it in the garage I stood it up a little with 1 hand (like I've done hundreds of times before with 4 different bikes)
As I left go of the bar she must have followed me a little forwards and rolled off the side stand but I had my back to it and ended up pinned sideways jammed under the edge of my workbench.... oh man that was a back straining moment to pick her up from that position!
Result was just a small scuff on the screen and the left hand plastic rivet behind the screen had popped out.
Second time, on my way to work, stopped to post a letter and the lay by has the slightest of inclines.... posted the letter and turned to see her fall off the stand and go crashing to the floor
,
No problem picking her up this time but more damage than the last time,
Broken clutch lever and scraped hand guard,
Bar end scraped and bolt is bent,
Engine guard has a huge scrape along it,
And worst of all the luggage box hit the floor with such force that it ripped the fixings straight through the Base plate leaving just 1 bolt holding it on.
Seems to be cheap to repair so far and I was intending to have the engine bars powder coated soon anyway.
Out of all the bikes I've owned, this one seems the most unsteady on the stand, anyone else find this with theirs?
