First long ride out today

Today was the first long ride out I have done since I got the bike in may, Manchester, settle, Hawes, ingleton, then made it to Gretna just hit the Scottish border. then back to Kirby longsdale and home.
320 Miles, must say the bike rides sweet did not think it would be so comfortable. :thumb:

Nice route you picked. Next time you go through Hawes, if you want a bit more rural experience. Tann Hill is a good spot. Just slow down abit in winter

A couple of people drove past me and ignored me. My strength was sapping away by the minute as the cold bit more and more. I ended up going into the pub (Tann Hill) and the landlord dragged me out with his landrover.

even worse I had just graduated from a 125, bought the 650 the day before. The landlord played his part and gave a good lecture on if I went over a snow bank in the middle of winter, and got caught under the bike it would be march before I was discovered. Sobering.
