is it worth getting a DL650 dyno tuned?

thinking of getting me bike dyno Teka ecu tuned.which will give Crisper throttle response custom fuel editing . Improved mpg . Increased bhp.that's what the company told me, not too worried about the increased bhp. but is it worth spending the money on it?
is there any pros or cons with getting it done? or will I just leave as is

Generally no, not with the DL650.
The DL1000 is set very lean but the 650cc is fairly well set up out of the box.

You can get it dyno'd but a significant improvement is unlikely without changing cams to that of the sv650/gladius and butchering the airbox.

to be honest my k6 wee was pretty smooth on and off the throttle and the newer models are smoother again. I would save your money for fuel and go ride.

I see, my main thing was getting more fuel consumption for touring. I recently put in a k&n air filter into it, not sure if that helped though. trying to judge if the fuel is any better.
mines an 08,not sure what mine is as in k6 etc.
so your opinion don't bother then?

Air filters like K&N do nothing, other than (in some cases) reduce the level of protection.
That is unless you have race bike and you are consistently at very high revs.

Best thing you can do for 650 for mpg is take care of your bike.
Make sure brakes aren't binding, chain is lubed, FI is working correctly, Throttle bodies are sync'd (though I've read that's not so much of an issue from '07 onwards), Cruising speed is kept to or below 70 mph and most importantly... ride efficiently (carry speed, don't over brake, don't over accelerate, don't cruise fast).

I've noticed mine has a power pick up at 6,000 rpm (powerband) and that if you ride at 80-90 you are cruising in this zone. Doing this home from Folkstone a couple of weeks ago I got the 1st flashing fuel level warning at 190 miles, normally doesn't start until about 230-240.

K6 is the model year for 2006. But it was a 07 reg.
So you can have a bike older than the reg implies.

Mine was made in August 2006 but first registered in June 2007.

Your v5c (logbook) will show a K# or L# K1 to K9 for 2000 to 2009, L0 from 2010
It'll help if you're trying to ask for help related to your bike as the bikes have undergone several changes over the years and not everything is the same from year to year.
Mine showed my bike was a: DL650-T K6.
T for Touring.
GT for Grand Touring
A was the base bike with ABS
X was the base bike with no ABS.
XP, stood for expedition which came with all the toys and alu panniers.
