Bloody screw
« on: July 19, 2016, 17:38:38 »
Was just about to leave work for home on Thursday last week, then noticed the dreaded "round shiny thing" in rear tyre, yep, a big screw. Used a footpump to pump up tyre, got about 10 miles and had to stop again, got another ten miles, and yep, had to stop again. Managed to get home, rear wheel out. Used Discovery for work, wheel and tyre into garage. " sir, might be to close to edge, but we will have a look" Tyre only done 4000 miles, phone call an hour later "all repaired sir, we would like to take £18 from you now"

All back in, all OK, what a pain.

(maybe this should be on "grumpy old git" thread)

Feel the pain on that with my PR4 getting one in the other week with only 2,000 miles on it. Glad you got sorted without costing too much.
