Suzuki Panniers
« on: July 19, 2016, 22:04:43 »
Another weird post from me . . . . . .

I have the opportunity to get my hands on some Touratwat racks and boxes for my '64 plate Strom, but I'd not want the Suzuki mounting kit and boxes left laying about one-used, so my question to the collective . . . . . . what do you reckon an one-marked set of panniers for the L4 1000 strom would be worth 2nd hand? And what sort of demand is there for them?

I've looked through the for sale posts and found several sets that have been put up for sale, but the prices seem quite varied, with some seemingly not sold, so I thought I'd ask you lot.

Cheers in advance

Steve T

Varied pricing indeed. I always check on sold items on EBay to see what folks are actually getting, rather than asking, for items.

I drew £370 for mine for which I was happy. I've seen them go for +-£50 with £400 being common.
My buyer paid cash on collection so I didn't get involved with Paypal fees, carriage, etc
