Led headlights fitted (pics)
« on: July 16, 2016, 21:40:41 »
Hi fellow strommers!

Having given in to my insatiable habit of needing to find brighter headlights I have taken a step in the direction of LED for a change....

Look at this on eBay  http://www.ebay.com/itm/381680812939

This set came from the states in a little over a week and was literally the easiest light upgrade I've ever encountered.

As I haven't been out in the dark yet I'm saving final judgement for later in the year or until I'm playing out late one night.

The light colour and intensity seem to be almost exactly what I was looking for to be honest and there is the hint of the light cast on the road if you pass under darkened tree shade.

Very nice! I run similar bulbs (?) in mine and I like them very much. You need to change the sidelights now...!

I can indeed confirm that TallPaul's LED lights are brighter than him. Shame about the wiring though.... Makes his 'bike very visible in one's mirrors.
To be happy, I don't need private helicopters,a Florida house or a yacht. I'm fine with my motorcycle,a trip to a forest in Bavaria and some lunch money.

There's a problem with the wiring?
Or just that there's extra wiring to accommodate?

Worry not, the wiring comment was a reference to TallPaul's wiring OCD condition. :)
