Throttle sticking

I took my bike out yesterday and the throttle was sticking it only has 420 miles on it not did not have heated grips on so no heat to make them swell has any one had this on there bike it  be good to know as its going in for first service tomorrow  :thumb:

Do you have heated grips fitted? If so check there is clearance between the end of the grip & the bar end weight.

Yes but there is plenty of play I'll get them to look at it tomorrow when they do service ????

If it's like mine, it was the connector rod on the throttle body. The spring had become stuck which gave me unwanted 'cruise control'. Plenty of WD40 loosened it up.

Had it serviced today and they found the link arm between throttle body's was seizing up so they sorted it. It's a bit worrying when it's only done 450 miles

I had this problem,the dealer took it in ,told me they had sorted the problem by lubing all the linkages etc etc....fix lasted less than 100 miles before throttle stuck open again ,,,scary ride home.......had it recovered back to them,,,,had to have new throttle body...lucky it was done under warranty,as cost £1500...

That's not good on a new bike and think maybe Suzuki need to look at a recall as someone who has not been riding for long may get hurt because of this as its not a nice ride with it sticking.glad yours is now sorted ????
