Need help with DL650 Mirrors
« on: May 25, 2016, 18:43:15 »
Need some help here lads, I thought I'd throw on some nice mirror extenders I bought off the beloved ebay and well.. Yeah the fecking bolts for the extenders have completely sheered the threads  ### ### ### and not only do I not have extended mirrors I do not have a right hand side mirror because I can't screw the old mirror back in..

So the help I need is 1: what in the name of gary oldman is that part called that attaches to the bike and then what you screw the mirror into? And 2: where do I find one..

Like ebay item: 161674585891 ?

Did you get the right thread bolts with your extenders?

I've heard it called a perch, a clamp and a mount depending on the website.

Fleabay has this:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-MIRROR-CLAMP-GSF650-DL650-GSX1300-SV650-SV1000-59671-32F00-/161674585891?hash=item25a48e6723:g:7xQAAOxyJX1TFgAb
which should be OK - as it's for the RH side, having the extra hole to clamp the brake master cylinder to.

Be quick though, it's the last one!
