DL650 Tall Seat
« on: February 02, 2016, 07:20:30 »
Hi
Can anyone help me, I am 6ft 2" with a 33" inseam and I am finding after a short ride my legs start to cramp up as they feel to bent underneath me. I feel that when I have my feet on the ground the seat feels fine both balls and heels are more than comfortably on the ground but when I raise them onto the pegs to ride I feel that there is not enough room hence the cramping pains. Please can anyone who has fitted the taller seat with 20mm more height tell me if it has made a difference and it was worth the extra £140 as that will work out 20mm extra room for each leg which you would think would make quite a difference.

Thanks Again

Alternatively you can lower the footpegs. It will cost substantially less than £140 too.

I went for both the bigger seat and lower footpegs, it made a huge difference.

+1 for the raised seat and footpeg lowering combo.

£80 will get your existing seat re-shaped, raised and covered  :thumb:

Tony Archer does some wonderful seats, just ask TallPaul plus lots of others, just do a google search in your area,
but I also had the pegs lowered and seat raised
