Has anyone had experience of using this chain adjuster tool.

It's probably a waste of time & money if you know what you're doing however I would be interested if it works?

A neighbour has one, looks well made and easy to use, if I still had a chain I'd have bought one, then again maybe not, I'd have just borrowed his!

I know someone who bought one but had to send it back because it wouldn't adjust down enough to tighten the chain to the manufacturers spec. it was replaced with a better one.
Personally I wouldn't waste my money.

It looks like a solution to a problem that isn't there!

Can't see it as necessary myself, adjusting the chain is a doddle without spending money.

I think it would encourage you to do the job wrong.
After setting the correct slack you are suppose to rotate the chain to check for tight spots effecting the slack, you do this by measuring the chain slack whilst turning the rear wheel. The chain monkey looks like it is primarily to remove the need to make a direct measurement but unless you do, how can you compare for tight spots..

Oh, Christ, yes. All types, shapes, sizes; prices. And a shredder so she'll never see the receipts.
Oh, and a Givi E45 top box and a Frankenoiler - PD mini workings with a Loobman dsd delivery head.

They're rubbish. And well overpriced for a piece of plastic. Mine is next to useless and by my judgement didn't provide good enough adjustment. The old fashioned way is far better!!

Buy a Tony Archer seat conversion. At least you will be sat in comfort wondering if your chain is correctly adjusted...
