I have decided the Veek is not for me and am returning to a Bavarian tractor.
I have had some fun on it though, 10,000 miles of fun!!
Bought new June 18th last year, px'd my '09 GS to experience a different type of bike after 15 years on mostly GS 1100/1200's. Paid the balance in cash so no outstanding finance on it.
The bike had it's first 600 mile service 24 hours after purchase then ridden around France for 1,500 miles which I enjoyed but was obviously still getting used to it.
Then various long distance UK trips and daily commuting which it does no problem, I'm just not a V-twin/chain drive kind of bloke and miss the smooth, shaft drive of the Beemer.
Dealer serviced at 7,500 miles.
Centre stand fitted, engine cowl, taller seat option added after I found out I could swap it, any Suzuki dealer will do the same as a good will gesture (mine did), Oxford heated grips, engine/tank protectors, V-Strom tank decal kit, V-Strom chain guard, full factory luggage, ABS, Traction Control, totally standard.
Who's up for some haggling around the £7k mark??
